![]() So you will have the network adaptor and the means to create your own card, but will be waiting for your mem card to be delivered.Īlthough we are here to help, we do encourage having a go yourself. If your waiting on a network adaptor delivery, then a FMCB memory card is going to take longer to get to you. You can make one of these tools yourself out of an old credit/debit card. You need a special tool to disengage the disk tray, allowing you to open the draw without the ps2 recognising it has been opened. And disk swapping isn't a cake walk with fat models. There isn't much else you can do besides hunting down another entry point (to which there are a fair few now) the only downside to a big chunk of these usually involves some kind of disk swapping. Bit counter productive when it comes to costs. I'm not the type to be handing out my personal address to people on the interweb also I'm half way across the world. Its been a while since I last looked and the devwiki doesn't reflect fat model compatibility. I was under the impression that only Slim PS2 models were compatible with FreeDVDBoot. I know you can buy a whole memory card with it installed on ebay for like $8, but I think that's a little too much. So if any of you guys would like to help me out, I would definitely appreciate it. If you want a few dollars for helping me, I'd be glad to include it. all you have to do is drop the files on the card, put it in the envelope and send it back to me. I'll send you my card with a postage paid return envelope. ![]() I was just wondering if one of you guys would be so kind as to install it to a memory card and whatever else I'm going to need to get going like OPL and whatever else is necessary. : Run\mc-format.bat\ or something, I have barely any experience with FMCB, I just bought a memory card with it pre installed the other day and my. I did try the dvd method that s shown on here but after burning 5 blanks I figured it wasn't going to work. I know this has been covered and answered but the Command prompts for me do not work, the guide I read said type : mc-format.bat but it did nothing to my memory card nor the Install.bat, so my question is, is there more to the command prompts, I.E. The thing is I can't remember how you get freemcboot installed to your memory card if you don't already have one done. Way back in the old days I sort of remember the process, you get a hard drive and you format it with winhiip, then you install all of your PS2 iso files to it, then plug it into your PS2 by network adapter. I just lucked out yesterday and picked up one of the original first release fat PS2 consoles. ![]()
